Good news for first time buyers and those who may be in need of affordable housing. The government is set to invest a substantial amount of funds into affordable housing and schemes aimed at first time buyers in an attempt to aid a struggling housing market.

This should lead to an increase in new housing and specifically an increase in new affordable homes.

For advice on affordable housing and first time buyer schemes speak to a good independent mortgage broker.
